Do you love to garden or enjoy yard work?
The Oliver & District Heritage Society is seeking a Volunteer Gardener to complete weeding, removing brush, and raking leaves at the Oliver Museum from spring to fall. No watering required. Volunteer must be able to work kneeling or bending for long periods.
Choose your own hours. Commitment: one day a week
Tools and supplies provided.
Duties include:
· Weeding garden areas
· Cutting back brush and thorny shrubs
· Raking fallen leaves
· Filling yard waste bags and leaving bags for staff pickup
We are able to offer an honorarium of $100/season for a total of $300/year.
